Sunday – Morning Prayer
L Lord, teach us to pray.
R In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Praise of the Lord
L Praise the Lord for he is good,
R for his mercy endures forever.
L He sent us Jesus Christ, our Redeemer.
R Christ’s death and resurrection is our deliverance.
L He sent us the Holy Spirit,
R to effect in us the Divine Life.
L Praise the Lord for he is good,
R for his mercy endures forever.
L Lord our God, you have given us this new day.
Let our hearts find Light in the darkness, the Creator in the created,
the Giver in the gifts.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Reflection
A. St. Vincent Pallotti writes about the Blessed Trinity: “My God, in your infinite love you created me according to your image and likeness. You gave me a free will. Help me to use your gifts and improve myself so as to become totally your living image: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, an image of your infinite qualities and perfections.” (OOCC X 749)
B. St. Vincent Pallotti writes in the Rule: “Immediately after rising and throughout the day all make the Sign of the Cross and renew their trust in God: to be strengthened by the power of the Father, to be enlightened by the wisdom of the Son, and to be sanctified by the love of the Holy Spirit. And as they bless themselves, they may say: Of myself I can do nothing; with God I can do everything; I want to do everything for love of God.” (OOCC II 305)

Adoring, we remember the mystery of the incarnation of the Word and we greet Mary, Mother of the Redeemer.
L The Angel of the Lord declared unto Mary,
R and she conceived of the Holy Spirit.

R Be it done unto me according to your word.

L And the Word was made flesh,
